Works as described.

Just got it today and have it set up already. I have a 3 1/2 gallon guppy tank with a couple live plants. I’m going away for a few days and really needed a light with a timer. I love the way the light comes on slowly like sun up and down. It’s pretty slick. The set up wasn’t super complicated, but it also isn’t the best directions, so it remains to be seen if I got it right. I think so. The mounting bracket is pretty substantial too. Overall, super pleased.

Decent light for price

I love this light and its adjustability. It was difficult to find a clip on light that fit the width of my framed 55gal tank however this one fit just perfectly. The part connected to the light is adjustable to fit length or width wise in the tank. You are able to choose many different brightnesses, colors, and the amount of time the light is on.

I’ve struggled to get my Ludwigia (the red variety) to thrive, but this light has made a significant difference, along with lowering the temperature by a few degrees. The Ludwigia on the right in the photo has been in my aquarium for a while but looked more like the ones on the left before I added the new light a few weeks ago. The ones on the left were placed in the tank less than a week ago, and they are already starting to color up and grow; I was worried they might not survive initially. My frogbit growth has also been out of control, which is great for the people I’ve been giving it away to.

Previously, I was using one of those cheaper lights with adjustable arms that sit over the top. Now that everything is thriving, I really wish I had invested in this light from the start instead of being swayed by the $10 price difference. It looks fantastic and offers adjustable height and various light settings, which I really appreciate.
