This review evaluates the “7-Row LED Full Spectrum Programmable Aquarium Fish Tank Light” made by SEAOURA.

The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. What’s in the box: one (1) 48W 120-137cm full spectrum led programmable aquarium fish tank light, one (1) programmable controller with power cord, two (2) CR1220 lithium button cell batteries, and an owner’s manual.

First impressions: The overall build quality of the unit looks very good. It has a low-profile durable aluminum casing that not only looks sleek but provides excellent heat dissipation. The large heatsink is important to sufficiently cool the LED modules – the more cooling an LED module gets, the more reliable and long-lasting it will be. The light fixture is IP67 water resistant and rated for long life. The controller cord has a generous 8.2-foot length. The lightbar uses high-quality LEDs that cover various light wavelength spectrums making it ideal for not only the fish but the growth of aquatic plants as well. The controller is very comprehensive and allows the 24/7 programming of power ON/OFF day/night cycles, 8 different colors, and 20 brightness levels to suit any aquarium needs. The controller has a single-cell CR1220 battery to back up your settings when the power is off.

How did this light perform? Very good! I bought this unit for my Wife who loves her aquariums (we have four aquariums in our living room, yes you read that right – FOUR… two 50-gallon, one 75-gallon, and a 120-gallon tank). We decided to test this unit on the 120-gallon tank. The amount of programming variety can be a bit overwhelming at first but the instruction manual thoroughly covers each option – READ IT FIRST! I found the light bar to be very bright and customizable even though we will probably not use all its functionality. Not much else to say but it is bright and it worked! The only criticisms that I have is the odd battery type used (a CR1220 vs. a CR2032 or a CR2025) and the difficulty installing it. Why not use the ultra-common CR2032 that is used widely in almost every car key fob?!

Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. To determine long-term meter durability and accuracy, I intend to monitor this product over the next 12 months. Should anything change over this period, I will update this review accordingly.

Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very satisfied with the product, it is sleek and delivers a wide spectrum of bright programmable light. At a current price of $99.99, it is of good value for the quality and functionality delivered.

In summary: the “7-Row LED Full Spectrum Programmable Aquarium Fish Tank Light” made by SEAOURA is well made, bright, and very versatile. It takes a bit of patience to program but a well-written manual walks you through it. All this is delivered at a fair price. I would recommend this product without reservation.

Great grow light. Im going to use it over a holding tank of aquatic plants but ill use it on seedlings too.

The light is around 3- 4 inches picture makes it look like 6. It’s a narrow light that works great while using little energy. You can adjust just about everything to get the light you want.

Récemment, j’ai testé la lumière d'aquarium à spectre complet, minuterie personnalisée 24h/24, 7j/7 de la compagnie SEAOURA. La finition du produit est vraiment très bien, le panneau comporte beaucoup de LED de différentes dimensions et le niveau de luminosité maximum est vraiment très puissant.

La manette de contrôle vient avec la possibilité d’installer une batterie CR 1220 3V incluse dans la boîte pour garder les paramètres en cas de panne de courant. De mon côté, je n’ai pas réussi à ouvrir le couvercle de la batterie en tournant celui-ci. J’ai écrit au support technique et ils m’ont répondu en 2h15 min (bravo) ! Il m’ont envoyé une photo (voir dans les images) pour montrer comment aligner le ligne pour permettre l’ouverture: on enligne avec les flèches sur l’image et on retourne le boîtier à l’envers. J’ai donc pû installer la batterie de cette façon.

On peut choisir une couleur fixe ou simuler la luminosité d’une journée complète de 24 heures avec des transitions lentes (15 minutes) entre luminosités pour ne pas stresser les poissons.

C’est donc un excellent produit pour l’éclairage de votre aquarium, je vous recommande le produit.
